include standard curtain airbags, in addition to dual
mode front airbags and side airbags. The front seat
belts feature pre-tensioners, load limiters and tension
reducers with active front head-restraints to reduce
whiplash injuries in rear-end shunts. For added driver
protection, the brake and clutch pedal are designed to
"snap away" under severe impact, protecting the lower
limbs.
